Event Schedule Updates

Pampa Cortes moves to San Francisco, California. The Maestro has accepted the invitation of Tango & More Argentine Dance in San Francisco, CA, to be Artistic Director. He will join Warren & Gigi Jensen, his business associates, continuing fourteen years of collaboration. Pampa will again direct Ballet Pampa Argentina, his tango and folkloric dance company, and reprise his stage hit "Fantasia Argentina", to be presented during the 50 year anniversary of his professional career next year. Pampa is sad to be leaving Houston. It has been his home for the past 2+ years and he will miss you all. You can expect to see him as he will return to Houston occasionally to give workshops and performances. You can expect a personal message from him soon. A note from Mikas and Antje regarding the Houston Tango Festival. The 4th Houston Tango Festival will take place on January 20-23, 2011!  Mikas and Antje decided to pursue other projects and will not be involved in organizing the festival going forward. The Houston Tango Festival 2011 will be organized by Andrew Dugas and other core team members who worked on the previous festivals (contact email: htfcuatro@gmail.com).
